FAMIGLIA
It all began many years ago in the early 1970's in the heart of South Philadelphia. Grandmom Amoroso, An Italian
immigrant from the island of Sicily, would make her fresh pasta using a counter top, flour and whole eggs. When not cut or
stuffed by hand, a make-shift pasta chittara and rolling pin were used to cut the pasta into "spaghetti".
In later years we enjoyed fresh pasta from Philly's Italian Market and P&S Ravioli Co.
Some 30 years later
our passion for this Olde World craft never faded. In the Fall of 2002 we began making small batch pasta and
hand filled ravioli in a commercial kitchen out of our garage in Hendersonville, TN.
In 2005 we began selling
our pasta, ravioli & homemade sauces out of a van in the Nashville Farmers Market on Saturdays. In June 2007, with the
support of our families, we opened Lazzaroli Pasta Shop.
Our motto: Pasta is the center of our universe.
Our Goal: To offer customers the highest quality pasta possible. Our Store: Provides ingredients
to make your experience something special.
